This quote, by one of my all-time favorite authors, immediately made me think of Philippians 4:8.
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.” (NIV)
I don’t know about you, my friends, but I sure need this reminder on a regular basis! May we think on lovely things today, yes?

Yup–frequent reminders are a necessity. Thank you for this one, Rebeca! Someone has said: “Beautiful things happen when you distance yourself from negativity.” I suppose that would include beautiful things happening on our faces!

I like that! As a former pessimist, I can attest to the truth of it. I think, as I distance myself from negativity, not only do beautiful things happen, but I am actually able to SEE them. Negativity clouds the vision, don’t you think? 🤔
